# 25. Word MCP Server

With **Word MCP Server** you can create and edit Word documents (.docx): formatted text, tables, images, headers, footnotes, comments and track changes. When done you get a link to download the file.

## What it can do

* Create a document from scratch or from a template with your letterhead
* Add and format text, headings, lists, tables and images
* Manage track changes, comments and footnotes

## Configuration parameters

**No configuration required for this MCP.** To use it you must be an **authenticated user** in the chat: generated files are private, isolated per user and automatically deleted within 24 hours. You can provide a *template* by passing the URL of a file uploaded in the chat.

### Custom parameters

No additional parameters needed.
