# Share your agent with a link

Sharing an Agent with a link is the simplest way to let users open it without embedding it in another website or application.

AIsuru provides Agent-level links as well as a dedicated link for each sharing layout.

### Find your Agent links

To find the main links for your Agent:

1. Open the Agent management panel;
2. Go to **Share me;**
3. Locate the available Agent links.

The sharing area provides two main types of Agent-level link:

#### 1. Private link

The private link is the more restricted access option and remains available independently of public homepage visibility.

If the Agent requires a password, share the password with the people who should be able to access it. You can copy the Agent password from the **Share** area below the private link.

For the complete behavior of private Agents, passwords, authentication, and visibility, see Access and visibility.

#### 2. Public link

The public link is intended to be easier to remember and distribute.

Its availability depends on the Agent's public visibility settings. Review Access and visibility before relying on the public link as the main entry point for an Agent.

### Which layout is used by the main Agent link?

If you have configured a **default layout**, the main Agent link uses that layout automatically.

If no default layout is configured, the main link opens the basic Agent experience instead.

For more information, see Manage multiple layouts.

### Share a specific layout

Every sharing layout has its own dedicated link.

Use a layout-specific link when you want users to open the Agent with the exact appearance, behavior, context, role, language, and other settings configured for that layout.

To obtain it:

1. Open your Agent.
2. Go to **Share**.
3. Find the layout you want to publish in the layouts table.
4. Use the action in the **URL** column to open the layout.
5. Copy the URL of the opened page and share it with your users.

This lets you distribute different experiences for the same Agent without creating separate Agents.

### Agent link or conversation link?

An Agent link starts an Agent experience for the person who opens it.

A conversation-sharing link points to a specific conversation and preserves the messages that belong to that shared chat.

If you want to share a conversation rather than the Agent itself, see [Conversations → Share a conversation.](/en/sharing/conversations/share-a-conversation.md)

### Before sharing a link

Check the following before distributing it:

* the correct layout is being used;
* the layout has been saved and tested;
* the Agent's access and visibility settings are appropriate;
* recipients have the password if the Agent requires one;
* you are sharing a layout-specific link when a particular experience is required.

### What happens if you rename the Agent?

Renaming an Agent can affect links that are already in use.

If you change the Agent name, active sharing-layout links can stop working. In that case, recreate the affected links and distribute the new URLs.

Private Agent links continue to work normally.

Before renaming an Agent that has already been published, identify where its layout links have been shared so that you can update them afterwards.
